DTG (direct-to-garment) prints ink straight into the fabric fibers, producing the softest hand-feel and the most photo-realistic detail of any method.

DTG works like an inkjet printer for fabric — best suited to 100% cotton and cotton-heavy blends. Poly-blend and performance fabrics print less reliably with DTG than with DTF.
If your design is genuinely photographic (a portrait, a detailed illustration, complex shading) and your garments are cotton, DTG typically produces a softer, more natural-looking result than DTF. For poly-blends, performance fabric, or budget-driven small runs, DTF is usually the more practical and durable choice.
